Siegbert Remberger was born in 1962 in Bad Brückenau (Lower Franconia / Bavaria).
He studied concert guitar at the College of Music in Würzburg and finished his studies
as a graduated musician, along with earning his teaching degree for music.
After an additional two year course of study on an advanced level at the same
university, he assumed his studies with the concert class of Oscar Ghiglia at the
Academy of Music in Basel, graduating in 1994 as a soloist.


He completed numerous master courses in Europe and earned scholarships
for master courses in Canada with Prof. Alvaro Pierri. He won awards at international
competitions for guitar, as for instance at the International Guitar Competition 1997
in Carpentras in Southern France. So far he gave concerts as a soloist and played
with diverse chamber music ensembles in Europe and Canada.


Siegbert Remberger holds a teaching position for guitar at the
University in Würzburg .
Furthermore he
instructs master courses for guitar at the Cultural Foundation Laudinella in St. Moritz.
Radio and television broadcastings have been produced, as well as
three CDs presenting him as a soloist and three CD with chamber music.
